Hirata & Associates, Inc. (HAI) provides geotechnical engineering throughout the State of Hawaii and Guam. Since its establishment as Ernest K. Hirata & Associates, Inc. in 1971, HAI has provided geotechnical engineering services for more than 7,000 projects for Federal, State, Municipal, and Commercial organizations. The types of projects range from Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing at Schofield Barracks on Oahu, to the Kapaa Stream Bridge on Kauai, Hale Pilina Affordable Housing on Maui, Kawaihae Harbor Improvements on the Big Island of Hawaii, and the P-647 Submarine Learning Center at Polaris Point, Naval Base Guam.

HAI maintains offices on Oahu and Kauai to serve clients throughout the state.
